Money your clients pay through HaltH is paid into your nominated bank account. This article explains when it arrives and where to check each payout.
Payout timing
Funds are paid out daily, arriving 2 business days after each payment. Weekends and public holidays aren't business days, so payments taken on a Friday usually arrive on Tuesday.
Private health fund benefits arrive 1 business day after the transaction. They're paid by the health fund, so they arrive as separate payouts with the source Health Fund. This means the gap and the fund benefit from the same appointment can arrive on different days. Medicare rebates are paid to the client, not to your practice.
HaltH's fee is 2% of what the client pays by card. It's deducted before the payout, so the amount you receive is the payment less the fee.
1. Open your payouts
Go to Transactions β Payouts. Each row shows the payout's Source (HaltH Payouts or Health Fund), Arrival date, Bank account, Amount and status. Use the filters to narrow by date range, status or source.
A payout's status is one of Pending, In Transit, Paid, Canceled or Failed.
2. Check what's in a payout
Select a payout to open Payout Details. You'll see:
Amount, Arrival date, Status, Bank account and Payment reference. Use the payment reference to match the deposit on your bank statement.
A list of the transactions in the payout, with their Date, Source, Payment type, Amount, Fee includes GST and Status.
Select Download CSV to save that payout's transactions for reconciliation.
3. Export several payouts
In Transactions β Payouts, select Export.
Choose a date range.
Select Download ZIP. You get one CSV of transactions for each payout in the range, bundled in a zip file.
Changing your bank account
For your security, bank details can only be changed by the account owner. Email [email protected] from the account owner's email address with your new BSB and account number, and we'll update it for you.
Troubleshooting
The Payouts tab is greyed out. Your business hasn't finished verifying for payments yet. Finish verifying your business, then check again.
A payout shows Failed. This usually means the bank account details need updating. Contact [email protected] from the account owner's email.
A payment isn't in a payout yet. Allow 2 business days from the payment date before contacting us.
