# What does HaltH cost?

One transaction fee on what your clients pay. No subscription, setup fees or per-feature charges.

HaltH has one fee: **2% of what your client pays by card** through HaltH. There's no monthly subscription, no setup fee and no charge for individual features. Bookings, private health, Medicare and DVA claiming, HaltH Tap, HaltH Extend and client management are all included.

## What the fee applies to

- **Private health:** only the gap the client pays. For example, a $95 consultation with a $52 fund benefit has a $43 gap, and the fee is 2% of $43, which is $0.86.

- **Claim Only and DVA:** the client doesn't pay anything by card, so there's no card fee.

- **Medicare:** the client pays the full fee by card, so the fee applies to the full amount. Medicare then pays the rebate to the client.

- **Private payments, plans and cancellation fees:** the amount charged.

## How you're charged

The fee is taken out before each payout, so you never get a separate bill. Each payout in **Transactions → Payouts** shows the fee for every transaction, including GST, for your records.

## Processing credits

If you've been given processing credits, for example as a welcome offer, they automatically cover your transaction fees when you process payments, until they run out or expire. To see your balance, select the **Credits** card on the **Transactions** page. It shows what's **Available**, the **Total allocated** and your **Credit history**, including expiry dates. Credits have no cash value.

## Can I pass the fee on to clients?

No. HaltH doesn't add a surcharge to your client's payment.
