# How long does it take? Registrations, claims and payouts

How long approvals, claims and payouts take with HaltH, all in one place.

## Registrations

-   **Private health registration: usually 1–2 business days.** HaltH's team reviews your provider number and registration letter for each location. You'll see **Pending approval** until it's done, and you'll be notified once you're approved. [Register for private health claiming](https://support.halth.com/en/articles/13711527.md)
    
-   **Medicare and DVA registration: usually 5 business days, but it can take up to 10.** This is a separate process from the private health review. HaltH is not the one to process this, and the one form (HW027) covers both Medicare and DVA. ## Payouts to your bank account

-   **Client payments (cards, Tap to Pay, payment links, gap payments): 2 business days.** Funds are paid out daily, arriving 2 business days after each payment.
    
-   **Private health fund payments: 1 business day** after the transaction. These are paid separately from client payments, so they can arrive before the gap from the same transaction.

## Government claims

-   **Medicare rebate: up to 5 business days.** The client pays the full fee, and Medicare pays the rebate into the client's bank account.
    
-   **DVA claims: about 2 business days.** Once DVA accepts the claim, it's processed within about 2 business days and paid to your registered bank account. [DVA claiming with HaltH](https://support.halth.com/en/articles/13711530-dva-claiming-with-halth.md)
