Connecting PracSuite brings your bookings and clients into HaltH, so HaltH payments, claims and invites stay in line with your appointment book. You then turn on HaltH Extend in Chrome to take payments from inside PracSuite.
A PracSuite login that can add API keys.
Google Chrome with HaltH Extend installed, for taking payments inside PracSuite.
In PracSuite, go to Settings → Integrations → API.
Select Add to create a new API key.
Copy the key.
Keep your API key private. It's what links PracSuite to HaltH, so only paste it into HaltH.
In HaltH, go to Connections. Under Practice software, select PracSuite. If you're setting up HaltH for the first time, choose PracSuite on Select your software instead.
Paste your key into Your PracSuite API Key and select Connect PracSuite.
Leave the page open while HaltH syncs, then choose your locations on Select your locations and select Continue.
Finish the remaining setup steps.
Chrome needs your permission before HaltH Extend can run on PracSuite. You only do this once per computer.
Open PracSuite in Chrome.
Select the HaltH Extend icon in Chrome's toolbar. If you can't see it, select the puzzle piece icon first.
Select Enable on Pracsuite, then confirm when Chrome asks to allow access.
The page reloads and the HaltH tab appears at the edge of the screen. Select it and sign in.
In the appointment book, select an appointment, or open its Appointment Details.
HaltH Extend shows buttons beside it. Choose one:
Pay with HaltH opens the HaltH checkout so you can take the payment now.
Send payment link lets the client pay from their own phone.
QR code shows a code the client scans to pay.
Add payment method appears when the client has no card saved.
Invite client appears when the client isn't on HaltH yet.
Send to Tap appears when you've recently used HaltH Tap on your phone, and opens the checkout there.
Complete the checkout in HaltH, then return to PracSuite. Once the booking is paid, the button changes to View receipt.
You can also start from a PracSuite invoice. When an invoice is open, select Pay with HaltH and HaltH opens checkout using the invoice details.
Reconcile with HaltH isn't available in PracSuite yet. Record the payment in PracSuite using your usual process.
Create a new API key in PracSuite (step 1 above).
In HaltH, go to Connections → Practice software.
Select Update API key to reconnect (or Manage), paste the new key and select Update.
Select Sync.
If the HaltH tab doesn't appear in PracSuite, select the HaltH Extend icon in Chrome's toolbar. If it shows Enable on Pracsuite, access was removed, so turn it on again.
